Disability Awareness Day

This term we have been learning about the Paralympics as well as looking at the challenges that people in wheelchairs face. Today we all had to put one arm in a sling at school and still try to do our schoolwork all day!
Mr Bensemann loaned us some slings from St Johns which was very helpful. We started off ok in the morning but by the afternoon lots of us were complaining about been tired and having a sore arm. Just as well it was only for a day, imagine what we would be like if we REALLY did have broken arms.

Here you can see Angus trying to do tha PALAGO puzzle with one arm.
