On Friday some of the class made flax flowers for Privilege. Jahamlaki helped us to make them and brought the flax to school from home. Bailey made his flower first then Miss R made hers . They were quite tricky to make, you had to weave the bits of flax in and out in a pattern. When we finished we had to wash our hands because you can get really sick from the flax if it goes near your mouth.By Laiana

Hello, I didn't know that Bailey could make flax flowers. Perhaps he could teach me one day. Thank you for the information that flax can make us sick. I will be very careful from now on. Lori
