This is Tyson and Angus getting ready to go to Rabbit Island to compete against other schools around the Nelson district. Tyson got 15th and Angus got 5th in the 8 year old boys race. We had to run through a pine forest and a field and it was very hard. There were lots of people in each race so we did really well. Luckily it didn't rain during our race, the rain stopped before our race. We hope we can make it again next year and hopefully we can get in the top 3 this time.

You boys must have tried really hard with your cross country training. It must be exciting to represent you school. Perhaps it's like being an olympic athlete!
