The bubbles clung to the raisins and then they rose up to the surface. The carbon dioxide gas inside the bottle acted like a lifejacket. Once the raisins reached the surface, the bubbles burst and the raisin sank back down to the bottom.
It was fascinating to watch...thanks Tanner for explaining the process to us.

OUR CLASS IS LUCKY THAT WE HAD TANNER COME INTO OUR CLASS TO TEACH US THE DANCING RAISINS EXPERIMENT. THAT EXPERIMENT WAS COOL!!!!
